
受動喫煙被害を無くすための法律が制定されています。
2019年2月3日から、タイ国内の主要6空港で禁煙が発表されました。
また、2018年以降に施行されている、公共の場所の5メートル以内での喫煙禁止やすべてのビーチでの禁煙などの活動の一環とおもわれます。

Originally published in the Royal Gazette on May 22, 2019, new anti smoking laws will come into effect in Thailand country wide on August 20th, 2019, which essentially make it domestic abuse if you smoke in your own home and cause health issues for other family members or residents.
This comes after several smoking laws have been introduced over the past year, including banning of smoking at six major airports and banning of smoking within five meters of public places, which includes bars, hotels and restaurants. Smoking on beaches has also been banned for over a year.

Smokers in Thailand may soon be prosecuted for lighting up at home under new laws which will come into force on 20th August 2019.
People who smoke at home face being charged with domestic abuse if found guilty that them smoking has damaged the health of family members living at the same address.
Smoking at home to be banned

A law prohibiting smoking at home will come into effect on Aug 20 in a bid to reduce deaths caused by second-hand smoke.
Those who violate the law can be tried in either the juvenile or criminal courts. While no penalty has been fixed yet, the court can order violators to stop smoking in the house and/or undertake a course to quit smoking. It is not clear how the law will be enforced.
